DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text] \n\nStepping into Manhood Camp – Celebrate your son becoming a young man and help him create a healthy vision for the future. \nThe 2026  October Stepping into Manhood Camp (boys age 14-17)\n30 September  – 3 October     2026\nRegister Interest \nWhy a Rites of Passage…. \nWhy do you need to go back to the past to move forward with your son? \nTo put it simply life right now is tough for our children AND for you as a parent! \nChildren are being “forced” to grow up quicker\, as the challenges and pitfalls of living in a digital age are impacting  their natural development and their personal growth. \nWe don’t need to look to far back in history to a time where there was a process where the village took their children from young boys and girls through to being young men and women. \nThis process is called a Rites of Passage. \nAt Rites Together\, we provide a safe space whereby fathers\, mothers ( or mentors) and sons can come together and be guided on this process. \nGoing from being a boy to a man is a journey\, and who walks beside our sons is as important as the journey. \nThe fact is many fathers have not done their own rites of passage. \nDuring the rites of passage process\, boys experiences and are guided through   a number of different challanges \, some conscious and some subconsciously\,   to  create reflective decision making and   positive steps towards becoming an adult. \nA Rites Together experience endeavours to create a protective and reflective environment where the boy feels a sense of togetherness within himself and in his relationships. \nSocial connection\, combined with open conversation\, from men who have ‘been in their shoes’ provides a potent story for the years to come. \nWhilst we cannot walk each other’s path\, we capable of building a    relationship where\, pulling together becomes more meaningful. \n  \nA fathers comments :   \n“What a humbling experience to have my son cross the line and start his journey into manhood not only in the presence of great men but supported by great men. I could not have given this experience to my son in a lifetime by myself … I know I have given him the greatest start to his life as a young man.”- Father  \n  \nStepping Into Manhood Camps \nSince 1994 it is estimated that over 30\,000 people in Australia have been touched by this life changing work through various organisations conducting Rights of Passage programs for our sons and daughters. \nThe Stepping Into Manhood Camp is a contemporary Rites of Passage program based on years of research and experience. Every boy should have this opportunity. It will help bring out his individual gifts and talents\, build strong family relationships and motivate him to be a good man who makes a difference. \nWhy  a camp \nWhat does the Stepping Into Manhood Camp create? \n\nCelebrate your son becoming a young man and help him create a healthy vision for the future\nCreate networks and resilience that will support him in tough times\nProvide an opportunity to be acknowledged by other adult men\nGain insights from men’s stories of their pathway to becoming an adult\nExperience and understand challenge is part of everyday life\nExplore a vision for themselves in the future\nTo bring out the best in your boy and celebrate him becoming a young man\nBring awareness to the physical\, emotional and psychological changes happening in your boy\nTo stimulate the development of strong\, healthy relationships that will continue to support him during his teenage and adult years\nProvide opportunity to think about what childhood behaviours he is ready to let go of as he moves into manhood\n\n  \nRegister Interest \n  \nRites Together has the philosophy that no one should miss out on this experience because of cost and aims to facilitate various ways of payment to ensure costs are covered for the camps and the organisation to be sustainable. The current cost of the Stepping Into Manhood camp is set at $1600 – 1850 sliding scale dependent on income.  An early bird discount of $ 100  is now available\, ff you enroll and pay a 200 dollar deposit to hold your place.   This includes all costs for both Father and Son to attend the camp and also covers the Mothers Program. DESCRIPTION:We come together out on Country \nto humbly ask \nto come home to ourselves. \nBy reconnecting as humans to Nature\, \nwith our unique gifts\, \nto serve our communities. \n  \nWe are here as guides\, offering tools you may find useful as you walk – and perhaps redefine – your path through life. \nThe teacher is nature – the mirror and the wisdom-holder for us all. \nWe offer to create and hold space\, and build a strong\, steady container through which you will journey through a three-stage process: \n\nSeverance: a letting go\, a shedding of the shape or ‘skin’ that no longer fits.\nThreshold: a time to pause\, to contemplate\, to transform\, and ask\, Who am I now?\nIncorporation: literally “taking into the body”; the act of bringing your insight\, vision\, and gifts back into the world to best serve your community.\n\nAt its heart\, this ceremony is a deep journey into relationship: with place\, with self\, and with the wisdom of the collective unconscious and our spiritual nature. \nIt is a rite of passage: a movement from one life stage to the next; a moment of release\, followed by the beginning of something new. \n  \nAre you wondering what direction to take your life?\nDo you feel there is more to life that your not quite seeing or what you dream of feels out of reach? \n  \nWe will create a space to disconnect from the “stories” and pathway we have been sold as a society\, to explore what is uniquely ours and how to connect with and remain in contact with our unique dreams. \n  \nSounds great but whats it all about? \nA lot of you might be asking…..”well this sounds great but what does it actually mean and what will it look like?” \nGreat question! here is a half honest half evasive answer……….. we want you to both know and not know at the same time. \nWe’ll support your preparation\, gathering online and in person   before the time on Country. \nThen\, we’ll spend 6 days together on Country in  August 2026 – holding this ancient rite that has helped people navigate life transitions for as long as humans have existed. \nThe invitation within those 6 days  is to spend 2 days and nights in solitude\, fasting\, with only yourself and the more-than-human world for company\, held and mirrored by the unspeakable magnificence of Country. \nFinally\, we’ll gather again on Zoom to reflect\, and integrate what it means to return to a world that may not have changed with you. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text] \n\nExpressions of interest for Rites Together Camp facilitator Training 2026\nSupporting teenagers in their transition  into adulthood.\nDates will be set for July and August 2026  in readiness for our  september 30th -3rd october camp once numbers are confirmed\nRites  Together is looking for men and women to step into leadership roles on our camps and this training provides a basic understanding of what is involved\, as well as gives you an experience exploring and expanding your leadership skills.  The training will be delivered in modules with two  half day workshops\, individual mentoring and on line zoom sessions. \nLearn about the Rites Of Passage process and how to facilitate this essential step in a boys journey to adulthood. \nThis experiential learning journey  draws from the experience of facilitators with 15+ year experience. \nYou will have  the opportunity to create\,  facilitate and breakdown the elements of a transition journey and use your own experience and   ideas to0 incorporate. \nThis leadership program  support those wishing to volunteer with Rites Together or looking to facilitate rites of passage processs in their community. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text] \n\nRites Together Monthly Community Circle\n  \n21 July  2021\n  \n\n\n\nRites Together is holding monthly circles for the community to connect and share our collective wisdom. \n  \nThe intention is to be able to grow the community and our camp leadership by getting together and connecting to explore different aspects of Rites of Passage work and ourselves. \n  \nThe last leadership training demonstrated that\, within the participants\, there was so much wisdom\, knowledge and positive energy\, that it would be a wonderfull initiative to harvest and share this through a regular get-together with our broader community\, so we can evolve and enhance our camp experiences as well as our own personal growth. \n  \nThe first meeting will be held on: \n  \nWednesday the 21 July at 6 pm. \n  \nat Earthwise 315 Bagot Rd\, Subiaco WA 6008 \n  \nAll we ask is for anyone interested to let us know by RSVP info@ritestogether.org.au and bring a small plate of food to share. \n  \nThe community circle is open to any member of the community over 16 years of age that feels drawn to support Rites of Passage in whatever way hey feel able and have time and energy for. I could not have given this experience to my son in a lifetime by myself … I know I have given him the greatest start to his life as a young man.”- Father  \n  \nStepping Into Manhood Camps \nSince 1994 it is estimated that over 30\,000 people in Australia have been touched by this life changing work through various organisations conducting Rights of Passage programs for our sons and daughters. \nThe Stepping Into Manhood Camp is a contemporary Rites of Passage program based on years of research and experience. Every boy should have this opportunity. We believe young\npeople are our future and deserve the opportunity for a Rite of Passage led by men and\nwomen in their community that support and encourage them to be the best possible version of themselves moving into adulthood. This training teaches leadership methods\, facilitation techniques and perspectives through the lens of Rite of Passage work. Participants\nwill learn how to work with group dynamics\, be present with what shows up\, and bring\nout the best in participants. It is open to men and women 18 years and over wanting to\nsupport the growth and health of their community. \n  \n\nSounds great but whats it all about? \nA lot of you might be asking…..”well this sounds great but what does it actually mean and what will it look like?” \nGreat question! here is a half honest half evasive answer……….. we want you to both know and not know at the same time. \nBelow is a list of some of the things you will experience or work through on the camp. However the way we do this and the process will be revealed as we go. This helps us to seperate from the logistical mind and open to the experience in the present moment.
